Nuzlocke Challenge Breakdown

30 Day Pokémon Nuzlocke Challenge 

Challengers will be playing the ROM Pokémon Black Pearl Emerald 

The ROMs will be downloaded on every gaming PC at Storefront 

Challengers will only be allowed to progress on Saturdays and Sundays 

Every team that finishes the Nuzlocke will qualify for the Team vs Team Showdown Match

To complete the game means you defeat the final 4 and are crowned champions 

Team Vs Team Showdown Match will be held as a Best Of 3 Tournament on PokemonShowdown.com 

As challengers attempt their runs, they must join the Storefront Discord and stream their run on discord

These streams will be viewed by the front desk and streamed on our store's twitch account (no face cams or mics)

Winning Team Will Be Crowned Pokémon Master of Storefront Games

They will also receive a plaque with their winning team on it which can be taken home or displayed at the store until next year  

Additionally, the winning team will receive a Free 1 Month VIP Membership to Storefront Games 

• 1 Pokémon allowed to be caught per route 
• Every Pokémon must have a unique nickname (this makes you feel sadder when they die)
• If your Pokémon dies in battle, it must be released 
• If you suffer a Team Wipe, you must restart the entire challenge (No Exceptions) 
• There will be level caps that will raise after each gym battle victory 
• Unlimited Rare Candies/Money so level grinding or money grinding isn't necessary 

• 9 Starters: Mudkip, Treecko, Torchic, Honedge, Porygon, Paldean Wooper, Ralts, Eevee, and Alolan Vulpix
• New Gen 1-9 wild Pokémon.
• All-new Gym Leaders and Elite Four members.
• Completely revamped Trainer and Boss Teams.
• A reworked Trick House segment between the 4th and 5th Gym battles.
• A final boss rush through Victory Road, featuring familiar characters from other regions.
• A surprise rival who is both new and familiar.
• V system removed.
• Mega Evolutions included.
• Overworld Day/Night Graphics.
• Expanded Shop Inventories.
• Verdanturf Hub Rework: Includes Move/Egg Tutors and Bean’s Shop with all items available.
